Woman faces felony charge after stealing neighbor’s goat and painting it |

Baldwin County, Alabama (WALA) – A Gulf Shores woman was arrested for cruelty to animals after officials said she took her neighbors’ goat and painted it without permission.

Erica Marie Farmer, 34, was arrested for the crime. Farmer also faces a theft of 2nd cargo property. According to official sources, the theft of livestock in the state of Alabama is a crime policy.

The farmer’s loan was set at $ 6,000.

MPs say Farmer removed the goat from her neighbor’s property and brought it to her home to show her child. At some point, she decided to paint the animal and publish the photos on social media.

They say when the goat’s owner discovered the animal was missing, they called another neighbor to ask if they had seen the goat, and at that point the neighbor informed them that photos of the painted animal were in published on social media.

The owner of the goat called the authorities. MPs say the goat was still in the suspect’s house when MPs arrived.
