A man painting a perimeter wall in his home died after fighting another man who Tucson police said accused him of painting graffiti.
Robert M. Norwood, 63, was painting a wall in his home on the 2500 block of South Calle Yucatan at around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday when he was confronted by a man who accused him of spraying graffiti, police said in a press release on Wednesday with.
The men quarreled and began to fight. Officers arrived at the house near East Golf Links and South Kolb Streets and found bystanders trying to help Norwood, who was passed out.
After speaking with witnesses, police arrested 53-year-old John Francis Hodson on suspicion of manslaughter and he was sent to Pima County Jail, police said.
