Superior native finds niche with house painting

A superior native learns and practices in Lawrence, Kansas.

Keagan Rice, an honorary student at the University of Kansas, started a small company that paints houses. While he has made $ 70,000 from the business so far, he said making money is not his main goal. He just wants to make his customers happy with their homes and at the same time build a network of people in the region.

Ultimately, Rice said, his goal is to start his own law firm that specializes in custody issues after struggling with separated parents. The sophomore college said that running the small business will now give him the skills he needs to make this dream a reality.

A 2019 graduate of Superior High School, Rice said he grew up playing hockey, baseball, and basketball in Superior.
