Remember the Gritty painting? For a good cause, here’s how it can be yours

Would you like a flawless portrait for your dining room?

Gritty and Flyers Charities have you covered.

Do you remember the game in early February where Gritty leisurely modeled the full 60 minutes on a sofa (without wearing his reverse retro jersey) to be portrayed by local artist Benjamin Davis?

Yes, the game. You know, the usual things that furry orange guy does.

Well, Flyers fans, you have a chance to win this famous painting by Gritty, and all for a good cause.

On Monday, Flyers Charities started a competition for the “Gritty Reclined” … what a name, by the way.

Fans can take part in the competition here at FlyersCharities.com. Prizes are $ 10 for three entries, $ 20 for 10 entries, $ 50 for 60 entries, and $ 100 for 200 entries. All proceeds go to Flyers Charities.

The contest ends next Monday at 11:59 p.m. ET and the winner will be drawn at 10 a.m. ET the following day.

Gritty has a reasonable request: he asks to keep the painting until the end of the season before it is sent to the winner.

The portrait seems to follow him everywhere; He is very proud of it.
