PHOTOS: Painting Continues on Carriage House at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa recently unveiled brand new rooms and a new color scheme as part of the resort’s major overhaul. The painting began about two weeks ago in the Carriage House, which includes the main lobby and the fast food restaurant. We stopped by to check the progress and found that the painting changed quite a bit near the artist palette.

The exterior of the building is currently getting a much lighter paint job.

A bit of the light green paint has been added to the bottom of the building, but the progress at the top seems to be similar to our last report.

The exterior of The Artist’s Palette, the resort’s high-speed location, has seen significant changes. The building is now dark blue with accents of light green.

Last week the doors and window frames were painted light teal, but now they are a much muted shade of green.

The long section of the building that connects the restaurant with the main lobby is prepared for painting soon.

The doors are now light green with a white border as opposed to the teal we saw recently. The new color scheme is bold compared to the old beige colors, but seems to be in keeping with the Victorian-inspired resort.

The renovation of Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is expected to be completed this summer.
