PHOTOS: Painting Begins on Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station in Storybook Circus at the Magic Kingdom for 50th Anniversary Refurbishment
Bring in the clowns! Painting has begun at Casey Jr.’s Splash ‘N’ Soak Station in the Magic Kingdom as the park continues to prepare for his 50th birthday.
The bold colors of the newly painted clown car on the left contrast with the worn cars on the right.
The front of the world-famous clown car has been reworked with a fresh coat of paint.
The renovation is progressing slowly. So far only one side of the world famous clown car has been painted, but it looks amazing.
It’s great to see the vivid colors. You won’t last long in the Florida sunshine, but the refresh will make the Storybook Circus look bright.
The signage and wheels have also been updated.
A close-up shows the careful painting of the clowns.
While the image is sometimes airbrushed, there are visible brush strokes that indicate that this paint was hand done.
We suspect the image will continue daily until the entire region looks fresh after “The World’s Most Magical Celebration”.
