PHOTO REPORT: EPCOT 3/18/21 (World Drive Archway Painting, More In-Park Filming, Paper Cranes, Distanced Goofy and Pluto, and More)

Welcome to a wonderful yet windy day in our church of tomorrow. The theme park wasn’t as shocking and not as busy as we expected. Let’s go to EPCOT!

We started our day with this great view of the painted World Drive sign. Just so you all know we didn’t stop doing this and we recommend never taking photos while driving unless you have a passenger taking over the show for you with a brand new polarized lens filter.

We go into the park when we see workers who are still working on the harmonious centerpiece ring. With so much this thing can do, we honestly can’t wait until it’s done to see what it’s capable of.

On our trip to the World Showcase, we saw more filming.

Well, we may not recognize him, but we know who this chic lady is, probably the star of this filming, and we are just waiting for her turn to come.

The bathrooms of the Morocco Pavilion are still not available, but at least we have new bathrooms in France.

Speaking of the France Pavilion, other repairs are being made in the area, including some paintings. Look out for these signs as traces of paint are unlikely to be a souvenir to take home with you.

There’s nothing really new to go on other than Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, but we thought you’d enjoy the view – consider it a fun way to count down the days to the final opening.

In the Japan Pavilion, performers running Kidcot gave away folded paper cranes, and we remember the good days when international staff once operated them. We miss them very much and feel that without them EPCOT is not complete and can’t wait for them to return safely.

Finally, we caught Goofy and Pluto again at the new detached character meeting and greeting from Spaceship Earth, which we couldn’t see afterwards when the winds came up. Probably a good thing not to want our favorite mice like Mary Poppins to be blown away. Anyway, that’s all for today, tune in tomorrow for our next photo report, same bat time, same bat site.
