Painting exhibition at Sindh Governor House
KARACHI – A painting exhibition was held at the Crescent Arts Gallery at Sindh Governor House in Karachi, which featured more than 100 paintings by Chitra Pretam, Mashkoor Raza, Ahmed Khan, Qamar Siddiqui, Iqbal Hussain, Muhammad Ali Bukhari and later Tassaduq Suhail large exhibition entitled Artistic Impression. A large number of citizens, art lovers, painters, critics and personalities visited the exhibition. During the group discussion, Adil Sallahuddin said this was a huge show and would have positive effects. Bhai Khan Shar said the government and private institutions should play their part in promoting arts education. Chitra Pretam said that more institutions should be established for the training of the arts. Akmal Shahid said that despite the difficulties due to the coronavirus, holding this exhibition was a commendable move. Qamar Siddiqui said that paintings give a message in which the artist uses his talent to tell it. Akbar Khan said efforts should be made to host more art exhibitions in the country. Crescent Arts Gallery CEO Nasir Javed said art exhibitions would be held in France, London, New York and other venues in July in collaboration with the State Department. GM Sumair Nasir said the large display succeeded beyond their expectations.
