MTN DEW to Release “Lost” Episode of Bob Ross’ Joy of Painting
Weeks after the soft drink maker gave away $ 1 million to launch the marketing campaign for MTN DEW Major Melon, it is pulling out the big guns for another massive campaign. The full episode was created in collaboration between DEW and The Bob Ross Company and includes a tutorial that shows DEW fans how to paint a bottle of the drink in one of Ross’ signature landscape paintings. In addition to the YouTube video, DEW will also use TV commercials Publish campaign support.

She adds: It is an absolute honor for DEW to be making this “lost episode” for everyone and trying to create a masterpiece under the guidance of Mr. Ross. “
You can see a teaser of the tutorial in the advertisement above. To support the campaign, MTN DEW has made special paint kits that fans of the drink can use to paint their own art. The kits will be available in limited packets that will be given away for free after the episode premieres this weekend.
Another part of the campaign will include an auction of the artwork used in the various television commercials. Further details can be found on the MTN DEW website.
