According to Louvre experts quoted in a new documentary, Leonardo da Vinci added just a few brushstrokes to Salvator Mundi, the world’s most expensive work of art.
The painting, which Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi Arabian crown prince, bought in 2017 for 450 million euros, was secretly analyzed in the museum in mid-2019 before it was to appear in the large exhibition of the museum on the 500th anniversary of the death of the museum Leonardo.
