Local artist to raffle painting for Amber Kilkenny Women’s Refuge

With domestic violence incidents rising, the need for support services increases, and Amber Kilkenny Women’s Refuge urges the public to support her latest fundraiser.

Kilkenny-based artist Dominka Stoppa donated a beautiful work of art that will be raffled this Monday.

The painting is inspired by a famous scene from The Notebook and is by Dominika. This framed piece gives any room with an impressive A1 size (594 x 841 mm) a value of 450 euros.
Buy your raffle ticket for just € 10 by January 31st to take advantage of the chance to win.

Lisa Morris, manager at Amber, said the refuge depends on the generosity of the people to fund their services.

“Dominika Stoppa kindly donated a beautiful painting to us for a raffle. You can find information on how to participate on our Facebook and Instagram pages. We are very grateful to Dominika for her support for our service and look forward to finding a home for this stunning painting.
“If people want to donate to Amber, please see our donation button on our website www.amberwomensrefuge.ie
We need the generosity of the public very much, “she said.
