Johnson receives honors for sculptures, painting


LARGE WHITE – Suzanne Johnson’s bronze sculpture “Wisdom’s Promise” was awarded a Medal of Honor for Sculpture at the international art exhibition Invitational in Saint Frajou, Art Museum in France. Wisdom’s Promise was also selected by juror Peter Trippi for inclusion in the Go Figure-Today’s Masters article in Fine Art Connoisseur magazine.

Trippi is the author of JW Waterhouse, the legendary Victorian painter, and editor-in-chief of Fine Art Connoisseur magazine.

Suzanne’s bronze sculpture “A Veteran” wins the First Place Award, Honoring the Heroes and the Blick Fine Art Award at the 92nd Grand National Juried Exhibition of the American Artist Professional League, NY

The same “Veteran” bronze sculpture was featured in Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine as an announcement of acquisitions to the permanent collections of the National Museum of Marine Corps, Quantico, VA. and also the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial, Angel Fire, New Mexico.

Suzanne’s sculptures and figurative paintings were selected for 13 national and international juried art exhibitions in 2020. She won a fourth prize in the category
