Group hosts coaster painting party

HANCOCK, me. (WLUC) – The Keweenaw Young Professionals group is holding a roller coaster painting party in partnership with Magic Kiln in Hancock.

People have to pick up their coasters and colors, which cost four dollars, on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in front of the zoom at Magic Kiln

The organizers said the event was a great way to network.

“It’s a simple thing we thought we could do from home, so the idea came up,” said Kurt Terhune, co-chair of Keweenaw Young Professionals.

“[We’re] Just trying to improve our events for the year since 2020 was harder to hold events, ”said the group’s other co-chair, Eric Coon.

If you want to learn more about the event or request custom colors for your coaster, you can do so on the group’s Facebook page.
