When Jack arrived at in 2017 via 220 Triathlon Magazine, he dipped his toes in most of the jobs on the website and at eBikeTips before, to his great surprise, he was named the new publisher of in 2020. His cycling life began during his student days when he cobbled together a few hundred pounds on the back of a harsh winter and sold hats (long story) and bought his first road bike – a Trek 1.1 that had quickly been relegated to winter horse but was unfortunately pinched a few years later . Jack creatively replaced it with a Trek 1.2 and mostly rides that bike on local bike paths these days. However, if he wants to get the racer out and be competitive, time trial, sports, triathlon, and pogo sticking are his favorite events – the latter is another long story.
