Contactless house painting service cuts to the chase

Last year 20 families were surprised by a local company with free house painting. Blue Ape Painting recently completed its “Paint it Forward” program, which received nominations from Southern Nevadans to find local homeowners and organizations affected by the COVID-19 pandemic who could use a new look. The first recipient even received three laptops for her children who had shared a computer.

“We hope to inspire more organizations to serve this wonderful community,” said Richard Ethington, product director at Blue Ape.

Describe your company.

Blue Ape Painting offers an instant solution for planning exterior painting. Customers answer a few simple questions about their home and the quality of paint they want and a quote is offered immediately. As soon as the offer has been accepted, Blue Ape determines the colors together with the customer and plans the painting service. Blue Ape will do the rest.

What makes you different from your competitors?

Convenience and time. Traditional painting work requires a day or week long selection process of locating and contacting companies, planning and conducting home visits for measurements and estimates, and negotiating prices before moving on to paint and planning. The same process with Blue Ape takes less than 10 minutes.

Explain your painting process from start to finish. How long does it take?

Customers visit and enter their address on the first page. After choosing the story of the house and the desired quality of the paint, a painting quote is immediately delivered. The customer accepts the offer by entering their personal details and leaving a secure and refundable deposit with a credit card. This only takes a few minutes.

A member of our team will be in touch with the customer to discuss color choices, available paint service appointments and HOA approvals if necessary. And those who are not interested in working with the HOA need not worry. We got them covered. We work with all HOAs and can help coordinate color choices and approvals.

On painter’s day, our team will wash, prepare and prepare the mask – including stucco repair -, paint and clean up. We take care of everything and are usually ready in a day or two for most houses. The balance of the offer will be collected after the client confirms that they are satisfied with the work.

How has the pandemic affected your company?

Business is booming. Customers looking to minimize love of contact can get a quote with a few taps and the click of a button. Very little personal interaction is required.
