Charleston man admits to spray painting park bridge | Crime and Courts

The other locations that were reportedly spray painted were the Lovell Shoe Repair building at 610 Seventh St., the former Lincoln Elementary School building at 614 Sixth St., the Friends & Co. building at 509 Van Buren Ave. A commercial building at 611 Seventh St. and a residential polling sign on Monroe Avenue.

The deal also dismissed charges in a case accusing Schumacher of biting a woman and preventing her from getting out of his vehicle on July 13.

His probation requirements included no contact with the woman, as well as a counseling evaluation and a requirement that he follow the recommendations of the evaluation.

Coles County Circuit judge Mitchell Shick convicted Schumacher by accepting the terms of the agreement recommended by prosecutor Sarah Hocking and defense attorney Todd Reardon Jr.
