The clip shows an older boy standing on Michael’s four-poster bed with his arms wrapped around a beam like a martyr on a cross.

Jackson stands in front of him and stares at him while the second child films.

The singer, who died in 2009, orders him to berate the child and begins to gasp and roll his eyes. Jackson then grabs the boy by his shirt. More curses follow, and the kid pretends to spit on the pop star before Jackson leaves.

Howard admits he was unsettled by the video advertised for sale in Hollywood.

He said, “The scene was worrying and confusing … the level of swearwords and simulated abuse cannot be ignored. Although Michael and the children were clearly engaged in over-the-top theaters, their preferred subject was undoubtedly inappropriate for age.

“Even if you’re playing some kind of intense RPG scene that verges on disgust, the words and actions on some level are inexcusable, but like Michael, they aren’t always what they seem.”
