Beginner-friendly painting class offered at Hansen Museum

The Hansen Museum Education Program is pleased to welcome certified Bob Ross instructor Sandy Seamone to teach two Joy of Painting courses on February 20th and 21st. On Saturday, February 20th, the class will paint “Witch’s House” and on Sunday, February 21st, “Storm Coming”. Classes are held at the Logan City Building at 108 Mill Street in Logan, KS, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. An hour lunch break is taken every day.

The Bob Ross Method is a fun and easy way to paint. Sandy learned from the lucky tree man himself. Sandy implements the quiet, supportive methods of her mentor and creates a classroom with a relaxed and carefree atmosphere. All painting utensils are provided and no previous knowledge is required. Young and old will enjoy the camaraderie of these classes. Students only need to bring a roll of paper towels.

Call the museum to register or you can find the registration form on our website (hansenmuseum.org) under Classes & Workshops. Register by February 12th and pay $ 70.00 per day. Pay $ 75.00 per day after February 12th. Discounts are available for members of the Patron and Sustaining Hansen Museum.

This fun learning opportunity is provided by the Hansen Museum’s continuing education program, signed by the Dane G. Hansen Foundation. For more information, please call 785-689-4846.
