Abstract painting exhibit at Buckhead gallery ends April 17

This week is the last chance for art lovers to see works by abstract minimalist painters Betty Merken and Pascal Pierme at Buckhead’s Alan Avery Art Company.

The gallery at 356 Miami Circle will close the Fata Morgana exhibition on April 17th. The exhibition is named after the mirage effect, which gives the appearance of an object hanging over the horizon.

Merken “is a painter and graphic artist who works with advertising contrasts of color, form and perception”, while the wood sculptor Pierme “incorporates organic material and geometric shapes into a modern aesthetic”.

The gallery follows pandemic safety precautions. Please visit alanaveryartcompany.com for more information.
